Andres is going home.........................

Hi Everyone,

The journey continues as the news comes to us that Andres will be going home this Tuesday 9/16. YEAH!!! He is very excited to be going home to his family.

Dre has been a very popular patient and I can say with all confidence that the entire Staff and the patients there will miss him! I've heard only wonderful compliments about how positive and motivating he has been during his stay, how hard he has worked and how focused he has been. In addition, Nazy has done a spectacular job as a caregiver and it has been noticed by everyone. The staff and patients are always asking for her. Her strength, devotion and love for Dre are to be admired! She was there for him everyday, rain or shine!

Last but not least, Felix will be breaking many hearts at the Rehab. Center. Sorry ladies!

Thank you again and again for all your support during Dre's stay at Sharp! He was showered with a lot of love and a lot of great food!

A message from Nazy......

Dear Family & Friends,

Andres, Felix and I want to thank each of you for keeping him (and Felix and I) in your prayers and for truly going out of your way to offer your love, help, and taking such great care of us each night and on the weekends. Your kindness is greatly appreciated and we are so lucky to have each of you in our lives. We know how busy all of you are and yet you still went out of your way to come and share your love, support, guidance, and your time helping with Felix and your yummy dishes with all 3 of us. We thank you from the bottom of our heart, you have no idea how much you have helped us out!
It has been a very difficult 2 months; however, Andres has been such an amazing and motivating soul and he is continuously making awesome progress!
Some wonderful things have recently come to fruition....We have 2 Fund Raisers that have been confirmed!!!! Thank you to all of you that have really put your heart and soul into planning these wonderful events. We know how time consuming and difficult it is to plan Fund Raisers, so thank you! Please see both flyers below.
Clint has designed a brand for our Fund Raisers (Great job indeed and super catchy!) He has designed a logo that you are able to see on this site..... DRE RULES! We are going to order T-shirts with this logo to raise money and hope that each of you will buy them for yourselves and perhaps forward them to your friends and family so that they too can also support our Fund Raisers.
Andres is due to come home very soon (YEA!) and in order to prepare a safe environment for him there are many challenges that we have to overcome. We need to obtain quality home care to assist him in the mornings and evenings, we need to remodel our bathroom and we need access to equipment, including transportation and services that will help him continue his journey to a full recovery.
We need your help... For each Fund Raiser (there will be a total of 4), we need items for the raffle and silent auction as well as donations to Andres' fund. We know how talented and creative each of you are and we are looking forward to obtaining assistance from you. If you can please pass this message to your family, friends and colleagues to assure that we are going to find success, we will be forever grateful. We will be able to process donations through this site and collect funds at each Fund Raiser as well. Corporate donation matching is also appreciated.
We are envisioning Andres walking, running, riding and look forward to a huge celebration with all of you real soon.
